Overview

The AEP symposium will serve as the culmination of six years of grunt gallery’s accessibility-focused work, specifically focused on the two prototype Co-Learning engagements (2022-2024) and the AEP engagement series (2024-2027). This two/three-day event will showcase learnings, artist contributions, and community insights gained through the co-learning engagements and commission project. The symposium will feature panels, presentations, and discussions on tactility, non-verbal participation, and access in contemporary art. By inviting arts organizations, artists, and audiences, the symposium aims to share grunt’s evolving practices, foster cross-sector collaboration, and chart future possibilities for accessible engagement in the arts.
