It’s been a year of many changes. In May 2020 our remarkable Program Director and Founder Glenn Alteen retired. Sadly we have not fully celebrated Glenn’s 37 years of building community through consistent, respectful and ethical inclusion of artists, curators and cultural workers from diverse backgrounds. His commitment to the idea that artists need a community to flourish has had an enormous influence locally,  nationally and internationally.

Our goal is to raise $25,000. Managed by the Vancouver Foundation, our endowment, which was started in 2006, has been steadily generating annual income, providing economic stability, and ensuring grunt’s sustainable presence in the community through our exhibitions, special projects and outreach initiatives.
